Time for a little review of one of my first video lessons on Deutsch Happen: the Alphabet.
It’s a very essential and important lesson if you want to speak german correctly. Even though most european languages use the latin alphabet, the pronunciation of the letters is different. So listening to the alphabet is the first step to get an idea for the german language.
If you are a native english speaker concentrate on the difference of the vowels “e” and “i”, the pronunciation of the consonants “g” and “j”, “v” and “w” and the “z”.
The other tricky part are the mutated vowels or “Umlaute”. I made a video for each of them. But as I mentioned in my to-do-list, I will film them again. They are not the quality, I want to offer you on my site. Well, they were the first videos I made
